I live and work on the traditional, unceded lands of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations in East Vancouver, as well as the ɬaʔamɩn gɩǰɛ (Tla’amin), Xwémalhkwu (Homalco), and ƛohos giǰi (Klahoose) Nations in say'ilh (Whaletown, Cortes Island). I am grateful to call these places home, and I recognize that my presence as a settler is tied to historic and ongoing loss and injustice.
